2019 Conference
The conference was a fabulous opportunity to learn from turkey breeder and judge Megg Miller, a foundation member of the Australian Heritage Turkey Society Inc, and one of only a couple of accredited turkey judges in Australia.
Several participants opted to do both parts of the test - written and practical - in order to become an accredited turkey judge.

Turkey judge Megg Miller handled every one of the 60+ turkeys...
... exhibited at the Royal Canberra Poultry Show.
This included checking thighs, breasts, feather quality and weight.
Input from Megg on Features of a Good Pure-Bred Turkey
was followed by a written assessment
and then a practical skills test.
